As usual, I come away from John Galliano thinking, "Huh?" But now I know what I can expect to see in magazine spreads this September.

If Jean Paul Gaultier has anything to say about it, then you'll be dressing like Amelia Earhart this autumn. And you're going to like it.

You can't really fault a collection that's unfussy and still chic, and somehow merges shades of Audrey Hepburn with Ivana Trump. The first Australian-based designer to show ready-to-wear in Paris kept up her good name this season.

Mandy Moore is the latest star to grace the cover of Marie Claire US.
On ex DJ AM: “Adam’s like family. [If anything's wrong,] I’d go in a heartbeat.” On fiance Ryan Adams: “He’s a good egg. I’m in awe of him: his brain, his passion. He’s truly one of a kind.”

Sasha P and her fellow Chanel models could have sparked a new eye-makeup trend this week. Smoky on top, tons of silver eyeliner on the bottom and tons of false lashes: would you try it?

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli are easing into the top-designer spots at Valentino, making good on their unenviable challenge of replacing one of the world's most legendary designers.

Karen Elson opened an almost exclusively black-and-white collection at Chanel, with more ruffle accents and exaggerated pussy-bow blouses than anyone knew what to do with. Oh, and the male models looked nice.

Jill: Oh, Naomi. It's finally here. You know how long we've been waiting for Mr Pilati, so let's discuss.
Naomi: I know right? Lanvin was the only other show that made me this excited. First of all, love love the trousers.
Jill: Once again, the collection is really sophisticated and classic and will have everyone copying it. Take note, Zara.
Naomi: I know. As we call it YZL. I agree with you. The collection was very classic but I didn't like the use of leather at the beginning. It just seemed too much and didn't work with the YSL aesthetic.
Jill: Even though the silhouettes were more voluminous than those of last season, the tailoring was impeccable. The sleeves practically require a blueprint.
Naomi: I agree. The sleeves were genius. Trust Pilati to do sleeves while everyone else is doing shoulders. However, I did see a bit of a structured shoulder here and there on the jackets.
