Freida Pinto Covers Flaunt Magazine's July Issue

Freida Pinto has come out with some strong red carpet looks in the past but it was at this year's Cannes Film Festival that she really shone. Wearing everything from that yellow sculptural Atelier Versace dress to that great Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2013 look, she absolutely nailed it and it looks like that's following through into her magazine editorials.

The 28 year-old actress appears on the cover of the July issue of Flaunt magazine's denim issue. Throughout the shoot she sports a short black wig and wears everything from Versace to Bottega Veneta and in the accompanying editorial she dispels those rumours about her being a diva and comments on the changes in the Indian film industry.

Rate or Slate: Freida Pinto Got It Right Again In Cannes

Freida Pinto is by far one of my favourites this Cannes Film Festival. Over the last few days she's delivered some major red carpet moments like that yellow Atelier Versace dress that she wore last night.

Today at the photocall for her new movie she proved that she's as strong at less formal events as she is on the red carpet. For the occasion Pinto tapped into the cropped top trend by sporting this printed top and matching skirt from the resort Salvatore Ferragamo collection.

What do you think of her look?

Rate or Slate: Frieda Pinto In Atelier Versace

Yesterday I wasn't completely convinced by Freida Pinto's black Versace outfit but today's dress from the brand is perfection. The actress chose that bright yellow dress with the lace and sculptural hip detail that we all fell in love at the S/S12 Atelier show. She sported the outfit to attend the premiere of the 'De Rouille et D'Os' premiere during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Rate or Slate: Freida Pinto Wore Versace Last Night In Cannes

Freida Pinto is a big fan of wearing Chanel on the red carpet but last night she opted for this sheer and sequin Versace gown to attend the opening dinner for the Cannes Film Festival. Pinto definitely pulls the look off but there's something about the look, especially the hair, that spoils it for me.

What do you think?

Fash Off: Nicole Richie And Freida Pinto Both Wear Antonio Berardi

Nicole Richie; Freida Pinto

Antonio Berardi was the designer of choice for both Nicole Richie and Freida Pinto yesterday. While Richie opted for this plunge-neck black dress with padded shoulders teamed with a House of Harlow clutch to attend the ACE Awards, Pinto opted for a more elaborate style with this champagne-toned embroidered gown to attend the premiere of her new movie, 'Immortals'.

Which look do you prefer?

The Truth Behind The Cost Of A Celebrity Filled Front Row

When it comes to a celebrity packed front row, Burberry's attendance for their SS10 show last September blew everyone away. Collectively, Freida Pinto, Alexa Chung, Mary Kate Olsen, Daisy Lowe, Liv Tyler, Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mario Testino and Victoria Beckham watched Christopher Bailey's newest collection eagerly from the best seats in town. Whilst for Burberry it might be a doddle to have the most relevant celebrities dying to be seated front of house, it has been revealed that labels such as Miss Sixty and Rock & Republic have to try - or should we say pay - a little more.

It seems that the more A, B and even C list celebrities they have sat on the front row, the better, however these fashionistas don't come cheap. To have Rihanna, our favourite Gossip Girls Blake Lively and Leighton Meester come in at an also hefty $40-50,000, and expect each Olsen twin to set you back an astonishing $80,000. Now it makes perfect sense as to why both Carolina Herrera and Marc Jacobs have both virtually banned celebrities from their front rows - and we applaud you! One should never have to be bribed to attend a fashion show... attend your show, you'll need to hand over a whopping $100,000 or more.

ELLE Style Awards: Especially Celeb-Packed For 2010

In just a few weeks, "the fashion Oscars" are coming back to London. The 13th-annual ELLE Style Awards are scheduled for February 22, with editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy co-hosting with a friend of the magazine, Henry Holland. This is the first time Candy has led the festivities, but that seems only appropriate for ELLE's 25th year in print.

We're told that this year's awards (sponsored by Next) are going to be even more star-studded than normal, with a host of celebrity presenters lined up and "a special performance by one of ELLE’s favourite emerging British artists." We have our suspicions as to who that might be, but the real question is, who'll take home the big awards of the night? With previous honourees including Vivienne Westwood, Victoria Beckham, Freida Pinto and Christopher Kane, the bar has been set high for this year's crowd.
