When you hear the name R. J. Cutler what spring to mind? 'The September Issue', right, but very soon you'll know him for something else as he confirmed that he has another fashion-based project in the works. According to WWD, the director has teamed with former executive editor of V magazine, Julie Anne Quay, and Gail Lyon to turn the 1986 novel 'Fabulous Nobodies' into her a film.
The book is centred around Reality Nirvana Tuttle, a fashion-loving but bitch door girl for a club in New York who, according to Wikipedia, takes it upon her herself to decide 'who is fabulous enough to get into the Less Is More nightclub.' While the storyline might not excite straight away, the fact that it was written by former Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Lee Tulloch suggests that we might be in or something interesting.
