Kristin, Heidi And Co Will Have To Get Real Jobs Now - The Hills Is Coming To An End

In a somewhat unsurprising announcement, it has been revealed that the next series of The Hills - which premieres in America on the 27th of April - is to be the last. The news comes with little shock to most fans, as after Lauren Conrad's departure the show has struggled to maintain high viewings, despite the dramas of Heidi's drastic addiction to plastic surgery, Spencer (and Stephanie, for that matter) continally showing themselves to be worthy of their surname, and Audrina's constant battle with her attachment to badboy Justin. Let's not forget the return of Kristin Cavallari, who despite after making a scene at the wedding of Speidi has failed to fill LC's boots as well as she might have hoped.

"I think we've told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A." creator Adam DiVello told EW, "A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths." The last season promises some drama-worthy stories, including the moment Heidi's mother first sees her 'new' face, and Kristin coping with rumours of drug abuse. So at least the last episodes may be worth a watch, and after all, we're curious to see whether Lauren will return for one last goodbye...

Lauren Conrad's Latest Collection Aided By An Ex-Project Runway Designer

Call us sceptical, but we were pleasantly surprised by Lauren Conrad's latest collection for Kohl's, considering her previous history in fashion design having not taken off so well. The collection contains some well designed pieces - our favourite being the one shouldered painterly print dress - however the change in direction for the line apparently comes via a little help from ex-Project Runway designer, Ra'Mon Lawrence Coleman.

LC's latest collection and numerous designs from Coleman bear uncanny similarities, with prints, shapes and detailing appearing to have many likenesses, compared here in more detail. Unfortunately for Conrad, we think we prefer the originals - and whilst we shudder at the transformation her Hills co-star Heidi Montag seems to be favouring, maybe she should stick to a career on television and leave the designing to Coleman...

R.I.P. Celebrity Fashion?

Did you stock your closet with nothing but Heidi Montag's Heidiwood, Mandy Moore's Mblem, Jennifer Lopez's Sweetface, JLO by Jennifer Lopez? If so, get thee to a charity shop because you're probably having a hard time to find your favourite celebrity lines. Those fashion labels have all closed, while Lauren Conrad's collection is, um, taking a break, and Paris Hilton no longer has a collaboration with Dollhouse.

Other celeb-linked lines, which are less focused on the celebrity's name, are faring better, as WWD points out. Think William Rast (Justin Timberlake), L.A.M.B. (Gwen Stefani) and Rocawear (Jay-Z).

Heidi and Spencer Get Married

It's official, Speidi tied the knot on the weekend at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Pasadena, California. MTV was there filming the whole event for the season finale of The Hills. Heidi chose a custom white Monique Lhuillier wedding dress worth $19,000 for the ceremony. Somehow Montag also managed to show off some serious bling on the day. According to sources, the bride was draped into nearly $1.2 million in Neil Lane jewels.

Pratt wore an Ermenegildo Zegna suit on the day, as did all of his groomsmen.

Exclusive Interview with Audrina Patridge

The Hills hasn't served the girls too badly in the ol' entrepenuership stakes. Lauren's been off making couture dresses for the Emmys and her fashion brand is doing well (much to the disappointment of a lot of fashionista's. I've already said to much). Heidi and Spencer continue to try and take over the world with their uncomfortably posed photo ops, or natural candid shots from the paparrazzi as they would have us believe, and we've all seen Whitney's new MTV series 'The City'.

Audrina is the latest to cash in on her fame from The Hills and looks beautiful doing so. She has become the official spokeswoman for jeans brand Divine Rights of Denim and appears in their current ad campaign. Here she speaks to Denimology:
