It's always a treat attending Jo Malone events. Their last 'do saw Iekeline Stange - the star of their Bluebell campaign - walk around in character while playing with white bunnies (yes, real bunnies) and just when you thought they couldn't top that, this week they out did themselves.
To celebrate the launch of their Christmas products, the brand hosted an event at a Georgian building in Manchester Square to get us in the festive spirit. Snow was everywhere, as were Christmas hats, trees and presents and guests were greeted by real penguins that were on hand for the whole day.
Although Christmas feels like a long time away, it's never to early to plan and the brand is offering a good selection of gift ideas this season. There's a good mix of winter fragrances, their successful seasonal candles, such as their new roasted chestnut as well as a selection of body creams, washes and balms.
Recently we were lucky enough to celebrate the launch of Jo Malone's latest fragrance, Wild Bluebell. Inspired by a contemporary fairytale, the event was hosted in a restored Georgian townhouse full of bluebells, little white bunnies and a whimsical-looking Iekeline Stange - who appears in the campaign - acting in full character.
Although the fragrance is not out until September, it has already become my scent of choice perfect for the warmer weather as bluebells are synonymous with the end of a long winter. It captures all things spring and summer with its delicate blend of lily, eglantine, jasmine with white amber and musk.
To show their commitment to the plant and its protection, the brand has made a generous donation to the Woodlands Trust.
Wild Bluebell is £36 and is available in all Jo Malone Stores from September.
