US Vogue's November And December Cover Stars Confirmed

US Vogue has had a good year as far as its covers are concerned. Meryl Streep, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Marion Cotillard are just some of the good cover stars its had this year and by the sounds of it, the magazine is set to end the year on a high.

Last week, Annie Leibovitz revealed that Rihanna and Anne Hathaway will respectively cover the magazine's November and December issue. Who will cover which issue isn't clear but the timing makes sense for both stars. RiRi has just dropped a new single, Diamonds, and will release her seventh album in November and Hathway's new film, Les Miserables (the one she cut her hair for), is out in December.

New In: Round Up Of All The September Issue Cover Stars And Ad Page Numbers

It's officially that time of year again. The September issues are just around the corner and the first few are already out. As always, Vogue Australia have released their first and stars Bella Heathcote and Numero Tokyo's Candice Swanepoel cover has also hit the net. While both magazines have opted for models, their covers are by no means representative of what you can expect from other titles. All of the rest have gone for celebrities and while that does bug me, the fact that Kim Kardashian doesn't appear on any is a bonus.

As we all know, Lady Gaga has been shot by Met & Marcus for American Vogue, as she continues to drum up attention around her debut fragrance. Glamour have confirmed that they've booked Victoria Beckham to cover theirs and I'm excited. Beckham's covers have been really strong lately and she just might be what the magazine needs after those disappointing covers with Mila Kunis and Amanda Seyfried. InStyle has opted for Jennifer Lopez, Marie Claire have gone for Miley Cyrus, W for Penelope Cruz, Interview for Emma Stone and V for Nicole Kidman.

Vanity Fair's decision to book Jessica Chastain makes sense. The actress looks incredible in statement designer pieces and does old school Hollywood glamour like nobody else. Also good is the news that Gwen Stefani will cover US Harper's Bazaar. Anyone that's followed the magazine since their revamp earlier on this year will know that their covers have been bang on, and their main fashion stories even stronger so I'm sure that's going to be a good'un.

Narciso Rodriguez Is Designing A Capsule Collection For Kohl's

H&M's partnership with Maison Martin Margiela isn't the only shock collaboration being announced this week. Today Kohl's confirmed that they are starting to partner with designers to offer affordable designs and first up is Narciso Rodriguez. WWD reports that the designer, most known for outfitting Michelle Obama on election night back in 2008, has signed on to create a one-off collection for the retailer that will drop this winter.

The announcement is unexpected because it marks Kohl moving in a new direction. They're known for working with celebrities having worked with Jennifer Lopez and Lauren Conrad on lines but aside from their partnership with Vera Wang, they haven't really teamed up with designers before. So far they haven't released information about what can we expect but since their partnership with Rodriguez kicks off their new designer collaborations, I'm sure it will be good.

Jennifer Lopez Reveals Which Designer Is Designing Her Tour Costumes

If you're a fan of all of the sparkly outfits that Jennifer Lopez has been sporting on stage recently, you'll be pleased to hear that you have a lot more to look forward to. Yesterday the singer confirmed that Zuhair Murad, the man responsible for the looks, will design the stage costumes for her tour this summer.

In true J. Lo style, the pieces will include enough sequin jumpsuits to make Jessie J jealous mixed, a good selection of gold (you know Jenny likes her gold) and statement capes too. 'There is a cape planned for the show,' she told People magazine. 'It’s not a Wonder Woman cape. You’ll have to come to the show to see it.'

Jennifer Lopez To Perform At The Met Gala?

This month Jennifer Lopez's cover for US Vogue's annual shape issue dropped and if the rumours are anything to go by, she's working with Anna Wintour on another project.

This morning reports alleged that Wintour has secured the singer to perform at this year's Met Gala. If there reports are true, Lopez will follow in the footsteps of Florence and the Machine who performed last year and Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Kanye West who have also been asked to perform. The reports do come as a bit of a surprise. Adele has had a long relationship with the editor so many tipped her to perform at the big even on May 7.

Do you want Jennifer Lopez to be this year's entertainment of choice?

New In: Jennifer Lopez Covers US Vogue's Shape Issue

Earlier on last month we all saw those paparazzi images of Mario Testino shooting Jennifer Lopez and as we thought, he was shooting her for US Vogue. This morning this images dropped showing the singer against a sea background wearing a dress from the Bottega Veneta S/S12 collection.

Their decision to secure Lopez to cover their annual shape issue makes sense. After all, it's her curvy shape and infamous derriere that helped her steal the limelight all of those years ago before the likes of Kim Kardashian were even on our minds.

What do you think?

InStyle's March Issue Includes A Pre-Split Interview With Heidi Klum

Magazine's haven't been too lucky when it comes to their celebrity cover stories recently. Back in December US Marie Claire released their Kim Kardashian cover, where she spoke about the strength of her marriage, after the news of her divorce was announced and now, InStyle UK are in a similar situation.

In their March issue, which is out now, cover star Heidi Klum talks to the magazine about why her marriage continues to work. " “I don’t know why we work, my husband and I ... We just do," she explained. But of course, this comes a week after the couple confirmed their separation. While this is problematic for the magazine, it could always be worse just ask Kohl. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony confirmed their divorce just after agreeing to design a joing collection for them.

Jennifer Lopez, Lea Michele and Chelsea Handler were amongst the big names being honoured this year buts awards were also given to women like 22 year-old Withelma "T" Ortiz-Macey, a former child prostitute who has quickly become one of the biggest campaigners against sex trafficking, and feminists like Gloria Steinem.

Jennifer Lopez Isn't The Only American Idol Judge With A Clothing Line Partnership

I'm not sure whether it's his chest exposing hippie shirts or his signature skinny trousers (not to mention his enviable selection of rings), but I have a soft spot for Steven Tyler - a really big one - and it looks like Andy Hilfiger (brother of Tommy) is a fan too as he's just entered into a partnership with the Aerosmith singer.

Following in the footsteps of Karl Lagerfeld, Tyler has signed on to design a "rocker-inspired" clothing line for Macy's called Andrew Charles. As you would expect, the singer will do a full round of store appearance and his 22 year-old daughter Chelesa will star in the campaign.
