Natalie Portman is the latest in a long string of stars - including Sharon Stone, Jude Law and of course Charlize Theron - to lend their face to a Christian Dior fragrance. As Fashionista point out, as Stone is the face for Poison and Theron for J'adore, does this mean that the actress will front the Miss Dior Cherie campaign? At present the question remains unanswered because the brand is yet to comment. Model Maryna Linchuck was the last to front the campaign for the fragrance when the scent was re-launched in 2008 with a summery commerical by Sophia Coppola.
Despite frenzied rumours of a split-up, Marc Jacobs and his partner Lorenzo Martone confirmed that they're still together by stepping out on the red carpet. The two posed for photographers at the ninth-annual Spring Fling party at Hiro this Saturday, where celebs in town for the Costume Institute Gala were out in full force.
It seems the Met Ball itself was another platform for proving relationships between celebrity couples. Sienna Miller and Jude Law were photographed together at the event, and Gwen Stefani posed with Gavin Rossdale, with whom Courtney Love had claimed to have an affair. Do we need more red carpet events to keep our couples together?
In just less than a month, Guy Ritchie's take on 'Sherlock Holmes' comes out in theatres. Rachel McAdams stars as Irene Adler, the fabled detective's dream girl.
Costume designers Jenny Beavan and Melissa Meister created the looks in the film, which also stars Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Beaven previously worked on 'Jane Eyre' and 'Sense and Sensibility', while Meister had taken the reality-TV route.
We know you might want to see Terry Gilliam's 'The Imaginarium Of Doctor Parnassus' for Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law, but don't forget aboutLily Cole. She plays Valentina, the daughter of Doctor Parnassus, and we're pretty sure from this trailer that she actually turned herself into a doll somehow.
In the preview, Cole spends her time kissing Ledger, being naked and sporting a Valentino dress. Not a bad role, sounds like.
The next step after Lily Cole's turn in 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus'? That'll be the film 'Rage', directed by Sally Potter. In this newly released trailer, we see Cole showing off two different hair colours but, you know, not saying a word.
The film, which is about "a young blogger at a New York fashion house [who] shoots behind-the-scenes interviews on his cell-phone", co-stars Dame Judi Dench, Steve Buscemi, Eddie Izzard and a drag-clad Jude Law, among others.
The Times called Cole's turn as a teen siren, Valentina, in 'Imaginarium' nothing short of "mesmerising". Will her performance in 'Rage' stack up? We'll have to see her talk first.
Sienna Miller graced the cover of American Vogue's July issue, which has just hit newsstands, in this red Calvin Klein Collection asymmetric red dress.
On never being on a real date: "I've actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I'm a real relationship person — contrary to public perception…I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I'm not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it's not hard for me to fall in love."
On watching herself in The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, which she filmed in 2006: "I don't think I feel comfortable getting naked now. I can see where I made the decision to make that film three years ago, but then you grow up and evolve and your tastes change. I was in this period where I was making movies back-to-back because I didn't want to be at home. Anything to not be in London. I was running away (from the Jude Law situation). Seeing that film felt like a few steps back."
'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus', featuring Lily Cole onscreen with Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell, largely has been panned by critics. But we can't resist giving you a clip with Ms Cole anyway. Judge for yourself.
