It's no secret that Elite New York didn't have the best fashion week last month. As is increasingly the case, the agents that left the agency over the summer took with the company's biggest models with them. Coco Rocha, Caroline Brasch Nielsen, Kate King and Alessandra Ambrosio are all gone and the models remaining at the agency didn't do set the runways alight this season.
Now their hopes for a comeback all rest on the shoulders of Louie Chaban, the agent responsible for the international success of models like Christina Kruse, Karen Elson and Agyness Deyn. The appointment was announced the Elite blog this week, along with the news that all three models will follow him to the agency along with Cameron Russell and Jamie Bochert.
As agents go, Chaban is a heavyweight so if there's anyone that can turn Elite's fate around, it's him.
