Last year she ended her relationship with Topshop but Kate Moss that wasn't the end of her relationship with the high street. To support the Mango fall 2011 runway show, the model appeared in a fun video shot by Terry Richardson and today she cemented her relationship with the Barcelona-based brand by becoming the face of the company.
“It’s important that she is a fashion icon who is famous worldwide and widely recognized,” a spokesperson from the brand told WWD when asked about why they decided to bag the model. When talking to the title the brand made no secret that they plan to use Moss' status to help propel them as an 'aspirational' company.

It's only four days away from the launch of Kate Moss' 14th and final collection for Topshop, and images of her last design work for the chain have now made their way online. As usual, the collection is a mix of vintage styles, ethnic-type prints and a bit of sparkle. This time, Moss added an unusual knit (Exhibit A) to the line, and critics so far have given the range lukewarm reviews. Whatever your opinion on the pieces launching next week, take heart in the fact that there are still rumours Moss could collaborate with Topshop again in the future.
Kate Moss' next and final collection for Topshop is getting closer to its debut, and with that, the brand has released a video featuring Moss playing dress-up with models including Carolyn Delevigne, Genevieve Garner, Rosalyn Holman and Jessica Horton. Judging by the tone of the clip, it seems the supermodel/designer might be feeling a bit sad that the collab is coming to a close. As the models wearing her designs twirl around, Moss distantly nods when she makes adjustments she likes and fixes the occasional hemline or two.
What can we expect from her final range? A softer set of looks with intricate bead work and spring-ready floral-printed chiffon. Will you be buying any of the looks when they hit the shops?
November is fast becoming our favourite shopping month- not only because New Look will deliver the 2nd installment from the Idol line and Jimmy Choo's creations for H&M will hit the stores, but also because November brings with it the holiday collection from the Kate Moss for Topshop range.
Irina Lazareanu'sCV rolls like a who's who of the fashion industry. She's walked for everyone from Versace to Balenciaga and was the face of Kate Moss' launch at Topshop. Now she's got the fashion world mastered, it looks like the model is turining her hand to acting.
In true Lazareanu style, she's not starting off as an extra, oh no. If recent sources are anything to go by, the model flew in to New York last week for a screen test for Spike Lee's new movie. The result? The acclaimed director cast Lazareanu as the female lead in the romantic comedy.
She's not the only model turning to acting. Lily Cole had a part in 'St Trinians' as well as her latest role in 'The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus'. Agyness Deyn has been hinting over the last months, that modelling is not really her thing. Accordin to sources, she's just booked a camero appearance on the film adaptation of Kevin Sampson's 1999 book, 'Powder'.
Queen of the fashion world, Kate Moss, and queen of the reality world, Lauren Conrad, were both spotted wearing this Kate Moss for Topshop dress. Moss styled it with opaque tights and a blazer for Topshop's Manhattan store opening. Conrad also chose a blazer but opted for one in grey and went bare legged as she promoted her new book, 'LA Candy'.
