Over the last few weeks we've seen Katy Perry all over the front rows of anyone from Jean Paul Gaultier to Chanel. But don't be deceived. She hasn't been there purely for pleasure. This season, the singer has been working backstage at the shows for American ELLE.
In this clip she caught up with Karl Lagerfeld backstage at his Spring/Summer 2010 show.

Tonight's MTV Video Music Awards, held at New York's Radio City Music Hall, provided quite the range of dress codes. From Lady Gaga's usual follow-her-own-drummer wear to Taylor Swift's mega-formal gown, the stars came out in, well, whatever they felt like.
Some of our favourites for the night were Whitney Port, Amerie and Nicky Hilton. What do you think?

The much anticipated, 'Fashion's Night Out' took place last night starting New York Fashion Week off with a bang. The global initiative was created by American Vogue, NYC & Company as well as the City of New York and the Council of Fashion Designers in order to encourage people to shop again in the light of the current economic slump.
13 countries across the world took part, with stores offering customers special offers for the night.
From Dior to Armani and Taylor Momsen to Rihanna, all of the big stores and figures in the fashion and entertainment industry came out last night to support the initiative.

The world of music is set to brace itself as Victoria Beckham adds another string to her bow by agreeing to sit as a judge on the panel for American Idol.
The former Spice Girl, mother, wife, designer and muse, has recently added the role of panel judge to her ever expanding repertoire, having been invited by Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller, to sit as a guest judge for the popular TV show. The singer is rumoured to be replacing Paula Abdul who famously quit last month following a dispute over pay, and is said to have taken time out from designing to make a one off appearance on the show.
Having accepted the role in a bid to raise her profile stateside, Victoria will act as one of a host of other celebrities including Mary J Blige and Katy Perry, who will also be doing one off stints on the judging panel but as yet, is the only celebrity judge to have been invited to two sets of auditions.
Rumours are rife that as was the case with Cheryl Cole last month, studio execs will be putting in place focus groups to determine whether or not Victoria's accent and tiny frame will be off putting to viewers and thus detrimental to her future as a panel judge on the show or whether they will warm to her and result in high viewing ratings though only time will tell.
For now however, Victoria will hopefully be enjoying and revelling in the warm welcome she has so far received.
