For weeks we've been speculating what Lady Gaga would wear to meet the Queen at the Royal Variety performance. Would she stick to the 'out there' costumes that we've all grown to associate her with, or opt for something slightly more situation appropriate.
Much has been said today in the press about the red PVC get up she wore to the event, with many labelling it as "over the top" and "inappropriate". However, in light of her usual attire including the outfit she wore to the VMA's with the face mask, I think it's safe to say that she she toned it down, and it looks like she agrees with me. Talking of her performance of 'Speechless' last night, she said:
"I wanted to do the suicide scene but was told it wouldn't be appropriate. I've also had to tone things down generally.
What do you think?
