Without much intention on her part, Lana Del Rey continues to be a source of controversy. First up was the critics slamming what seemed to be an overnight rise to fame and you'll remember the controversy that ensued after she bagged the big March cover of Vogue UK and had a Mulberry bag named in her honour. Now, the singer is under fire about her music again.
Yesterday the 25 year-old tweeted this picture which is set to be the cover art for her new single 'Blue Jeans. The image shows Del Rey lying on the floor with a man's had around her neck causing many to argue that she is glamorising violence. While the shot isn't perhaps the most responsible image, calling her out would warrant criticising just about every other singer in the chart's today.
What do you think?
