Chloë Sevigny attended the Yves Saint Laurent and Cinema Society hosted screening of 'Lawless' this week sporting one of the flower vine printed Versace Jeans couture dresses.
Despite originally being in love with Sevigny's style, over the past few years she come up with some questionable looks that feel less organic and naturally edgy as they used to and more on the contrived side, so this look is a welcomed move away from that. And to finish the look off, she gave the dress a touch edge by styling it with black leather Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony 'Nana' boots.
Jessica Chastain is amongst a class of relatively new actresses on the scene that never fail to disappoint when it comes to red carpet dressing. From appearing at the 'Live with Kelly' to promote her last movie wearing that Fall 2012 Carven outfit to absolutely nailing it in that Marios Schwab number at the Tony Awards, Chastain is by far one of my favourite red carpet goers and she has stylist Elizabeth Stewart to thank.
Yesterday Chastain fulfilled her duties as the new face of Yves Saint Laurent's latest fragrance by attending the screening of 'Lawless', which the brand held alonside the Cinema Society and on the red carpet, she couldn't have been more compliemntary of Stewart's work. 'I’ve worked with her for two years. My very first meeting with her, I really had a connection because she sees fashion as more than just using a dress to look pretty,' she told The Cut. 'I also love the idea that she dresses people for who they are as individuals. She doesn’t dress people like herself, or like each other. She also dresses Cate Blanchett, Freida Pinto, and Amanda Seyfried, and we all have very different styles.'
Jessica Chastain split opinions in that white Alexander McQueen dress this week but yesterday she was back on form. To attend the premiere of her new movie, 'Lawless' during the Cannes Film Festival, the actress chose this chiffon Gucci dress with gold embellishment.
