Leona Lewis Embraces Her Edgy Side With The Help Of Vivienne Westwood
Leona Lewis is not often considered to be the most fashion-forward of artists her age, despite her angelic voice. That is, until now. The singing sensation has been clocking up some serious fashion points in recent weeks due to her new look, which in short consists solely of up-to-the-minute Vivienne Westwood pieces.
Having worn the creations from the label to a string of events lately, most recently the MTV Europe Music awards, a spokesperson for the label has confirmed that she will be donning Westwood in her new video and will create a dozen or so bespoke outfits for her upcoming promotional worldwide tour. The source confirmed that, "The Vivienne Westwood couture team worked with Leona Lewis's stylist, Alison Edmond for this project...The brief was simple. To create a classic, glamourous and sexy look for Leona but with a Westwood twist. Leona had been a wonderful artist to work with and she fitted the Westwood silhouette so well."
After Ms Lewis's recent trouble with the crazed fan who punched her in the head a few weeks ago (he has since been sectioned, thankfully!), we're so happy to see her back with a bang and can't wait to see what she wears for her X-Factor performance today...
