I love Lily’s humor, her cheekiness, her talent, her little upturned nose and her perfect décolletage.

In September, Anna Wintour came up with a global initiative, Fashion's Night Out, to stimulate spending, which in turn would go towards easing the difficulties caused by the global economic downturn. Kicking off on the first night of New York Fashion Week, fashion savvy shoppers were treated to free drinks and canapes as well as appearances from a mixed bag of celebrities. Here in the UK, stores such as Burberry, Matches, DKNY and Browns amongst others, played host to the likes of Lily Allen, Marios Schwab, Jonathan Saunders, Richard Nicoll, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe to name but a few.
Due to the success of the inaugural event, Mayor Bloomberg and Vogue will be bringing Fashion's Night Out back again next year from the 9th September 2010, onwards. Anna Wintour confirmed that, "We were absolutely bowled over by the response to Fashion's Night Out. It was only fifteen minutes after the event began and we were getting reports about lines around the block at stores throughout the city...It was wonderful to see people embrace this initiative, and we are thrilled that they wish it to return." We are thrilled too and have already started planning how we will be able to attend the celebrations in multiple cities next year. We've already begun the countdown- only 311 days to go!

Which singer gets your style vote?

Always one to astound us with extravagant catwalk settings, Karl Lagerfeld transformed the Grand Palais into a hay-filled barn, complete with tongue in cheek Chanel emblem clog heels, chain garter transfers on bare legs, and lace embellished sunglasses. The traditional tweed Chanel skirt suit ran dominant, updated with a vastly shorter hemline, complete with cheeky thigh split, and checkered tweed fabrics. Lagerfeld played on the sheer trend with layered cream and black laces, opaque tights and diaphanous dresses and blouses.

Not to be out shone by Victor & Rolf who had ex-Moloko singer, Róisín Murphy perform at their Spring/Summer 2010 show, Karl Lagerfeld called on his muse and model for the brand's Cocoon bags, Lily Allen, to sing at the Chanel show.
During the finale, a mini stage and hay stack rose from the ground to reveal Ms Allen and her backing singers, to a huge applause from the crowd.

We've seen - and got used to - the likes of Daisy, Pixie, and Alice on the catwalk. So could our very own Lily Allen - the new face of the Chanel Cocoon bags collection - be walking for Chanel herself? The singer-turned-model will 'definitely be at the Chanel show' this Tuesday, but only time will tell whether the Brit sensation will be sat a la front row, or whether she'll be rocking the catwalk as well as the campaign for new found friend Karl, who are supposed BFFs. For now, we'll have to simply sit and wait for Tuesday to get here...

It's just three days until the Emanuel Ungaro Spring 2010 collection is revealed in Paris, and Lindsay Lohan, the new artistic adviser for the brand, is up to her elbows in work! And now, she's become something of a Twitter publicist for Ungaro, inviting Lily Allen, Miley Cyrus, Charlotte Ronson and Sarah Silverman to the show with a few tweets. As she typed to Miley: "will you be in Paris this week? would you like to come to the Emanuel Ungaro show for the new collection i've designed love? xo*"
According to Ungaro CEO Mounir Mouffarige, Lohan was hired for "kind of [overseeing] everything [designer Estrella Archs] does", and was chosen because she's a walking ambassador for the brand.
Lohan revealed, via Twitter, that she's pretty pleased with her new office for the brand in Paris. She wrote: "It's so pretty! I was shocked&so happy I cried!!! A dream come true!"

High street giant New Look has always sought to offer affordable, forward thinking and on-trend pieces. Having brought us a number of celebrity collaborations with the likes of Fearne Cotton, Alexa Chung and Lily Allen, the retailer is often way ahead of its high-street counterparts.
This week New Look launched their 'Idol' range which is a collection completely dedicated to the rock-chick in you. Paying homage to Debbie Harry, from whom the design team sought inspiration, the collection features edgy and directional garments and accessories. Jumpsuits, embellished boyfriend blazers, printed and bold coloured dresses, cuffs, chain details and spiked heels are the focal points of the collection which has been designed with the 'style-savvy fashionistas' in mind.

Lily Allen got her sex appeal on in this sheer black maxi dress at the 2009 GQ Men of The Year Awards.
What do you think of her look?

And no, we're not talking about the Playboy ones. It's hard not to notice that celebrities have been wearing something different on their heads lately: bunny ears.
It all started on the Louis Vuitton runway earlier this year (doesn't Sasha P look cute?) and has spread into the real world thanks to Madonna's appearance at the Met Ball. Then there were the paparazzi shots of Lily Allen, Lady Gaga, the Olsen twins...
Perhaps this is only a natural escalation from everyone copying Blair Waldorf's headbands.
