Earth Day isn't actually until this Thursday, but the boys of Loomstate celebrated early - with an industry party on April 14 and, yes, a 40-member drum circle. Designers Scott Mackinlay Hahn and Rogan Gregory built a 20-foot pyramid monument in New York's Good Units at Hudson, where guests like Pamela Love, Barneys' Julie Gilhart, and Jeff Halmos and Sam Shipley of Shipley & Halmos took part in the festivities.

As producers of organic and sustainable clothing that maintains a sense of style often missing from eco-brands, Hahn and Gregory make the perfect team to tribute Earth Day's 40th anniversary. Good style with a good mission and a good sense of fun...we can always use plenty of that in the fashion industry.
