While Rosie Huntington-Whiteley did have a strong modelling career before starring in 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', it wouldn't be too far-fetched to say that it was that role that turned her into an international name. It should come as no surprise then that the former Victoria's Secret model has decided to continue working in film.
Yesterday the 25-year old confirmed that she's been cast to appear in the fourth Mad Max film,'Mad Max: Fury Road', alongside Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy. According to reports, Huntington-Whiteley will play one of five wives along with Adelaid Clemens, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keogh and fellow model Abbey Lee Kershaw. The role is a big one and will hopefully go a long way in proving her critics wrong, especially after her performance in Transformers was met with such mixed reviews.
Abbey Lee Kershaw has been low profile recently. Over the years she hasn't hid her musical ambitions so when she was missing at the shows, many concluded that it was linked with that but it looks like we were wrong. As models like Miranda Kerr and Ruby Aldridge begin to tip their toes into music, it looks like Kershaw is already working on adding another string to her bow.
Today Australia's Telegraph reports that she's set to make her acting debut in 'Mad Max: Fury Road', alongside stars like Tom Hardy, Zoe Kravitz and Charlize Theron. The film, the fourth in the series, is a sci-fi action thriller and is directed by George Miller and is set to start shooting in Namibia this month. What the models' role in the film is, is yet to be confirmed.
