Alber Elbaz is fast going to make a name for himself as an artistic director for editorials, judging by the December 2009 cover of Brazilian Vogue. Mr Elbaz, whose day job sees him working as artistic director of the French fashion house Lanvin, came up with the entire concept for the cover and the exclusive spread entitled "The Fabulous World of Alber Elbaz" with Madisyn Ritland and Elsa Sylvan. The editorial, photographed by Stephane Gallois, sees a somewhat fantastical take on fashion with a theme that speaks of fluidity, colour juxtaposed with glossy black backgrounds.
We loved it. And hope to see more from Elbaz in his 'new' role as he can certainly give Karl Lagerfeld a run for his money.
