We could barely believe the decade was almost over until we heard about Vogue's "Best Dressed Women Of The Decade 2000-2009" list. Scanning the red carpets, runways and general moments from the past 10 years, Vogue has managed to compile a list of celebrities in the running for the title. Readers have been given the power to decide who will win and will choose from 10 looks from each year since 2000. On the 25th January, the final results will be revealed.
We were not at all surprised to see the likes of Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman, Chloe Sevigny, Jennifer Aniston, Kate Bosworth, Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow or even Michelle Obama on the list. We were however a little taken aback to learn that Jennifer Lopez (in that 'tropical-inspired' diaphanous Versace dress), Madonna and Tilda Swinton had also made it onto the list, whilst the likes of Rachel Bilson, Emma Roberts, Leighton Meester and Kate Hudson were missing, but c'est la vie. The fact that we, the readers, will still be able to decide who we think should top the list, is a (large) step in the right direction. Of course we'll be voting for Kate Moss (naturally), but you can check out Vogue.com to decide for yourself.

Italian Vanity Fair gives the first looks at Madonna's Dolce & Gabbana ad campaign for Spring/Summer 2010, and we're surprised to see the pop legend washing dishes and eating pasta (or at least pretending to) for the Steven Klein shots. According to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana's blog: "Madonna herself recalls the strong, raw sensuality of the iconic actress Anna Magnani - showcasing when soft sensuality meets bold authenticity." Hmm.
According to the designers, this is Madonna at her most real. We're not so sure about that (especially since her appearance on Letterman last September marked the first time she'd ever eaten New York pizza, and even then she refused to eat the cheese), but what do we know? Vanity Fair wrote: "When asked as to whether Madonna knows how to wash dishes, Stefano Gabbana replies, 'Certainly ... she's a very practical woman ... ' And does she actually eat spaghetti despite her most enviable figure? 'Of course,' says Stefano, 'and she can allow herself to with all the exercise she does!' "

Often incorporating a darker side into his photography, Steven Klein is not afraid to push the boundaries. Shooting many a celebrity most notably Brad and Angelina, Justin Timberlake and Madonna, Klein aims to bring out an unseen side of them, as well as tying in topical themes. “Great fashion photography not only understands the clothes and makes them look beautiful and of-the-moment” says Anna Wintour, “but it also brings a twist that catches the eye and captures the imagination. In the case of Steven Klein, you give him a dress, and he will give you a girl in a dress with a robot in a garden. It’s clever, conceptual, and ultimately lyrical.”

We’ve found a sneak preview of Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2010 campaign, featuring our favourite toothy Dutch model, Lara Stone. Last month, Daniel Lalonde, Vuitton’s President and CEO, described Stone as “ very fresh and someone who embodies a lot of the values of the brand, and a lot of talent and a lot of beauty”. And it looks as though the ads, which trade magazine WWD labelled as “New Age”, are following suit with a fresh and natural feel. The theme couldn’t be further away from Steven Meisel’s mannequin-esque Madonna shots in Vuitton’s ‘burlesque’-coloured Autumn 2009 campaign.
“After two seasons with such a huge star, [artistic director] Marc [Jacobs] decided to take a breather and work with a model — and not just any model. It’s the choice of a new supermodel,” Antoine Arnault, Vuitton’s Communication Director, said to WWD as he unveiled a campaign slated to break in February fashion titles. “She clearly has a Brigitte Bardot look.”

Madonna wasn't the only person that came out to support Tom Ford at the screening of 'A Single Man' this week in New York. Tamara Mellon was also in attendance pairing her LBD with a cropped black fur jacket.
What do you think of her look?

Madonna opted for ruching and fur - plus a palette of all black - at Sunday night's screening of the Tom Ford film 'A Single Man' in New York.
How does the pop legend look?
Obama was 200 percent advertising. I promote myself to sell my brands. Because now I am a kind of celeb. I am in a different world than the fashion industry. I am with Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Madonna. I build me as a celebrity.
The Ed Hardy exec told GQ
At the moment he met Madonna, I never see him after that. I sent him to the job and after that he changed phone numbers and I never see him again.
Luz's former agent, Sérgio Mattos, tells the New York Times he was dropped after sending the model to his now-famous W shoot
