H&M can do no wrong. In the past, the high street retailer has collaborated with everyone from Karl Lagerfeld to their most recent line with Jimmy Choo, not to mention the highly anticipated lingerie and knitwear collaboration with Sonia Rykiel.
Just when we thought that was good enough, the retailer has announced that the Sonia Rykiel collection will be officially unveiled and celebrated with a big runway show in Paris on December 1, days before the collection hits stores.
The show will take place at the Grand Palais, the place of choice for Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel's runway shows, and will showcase the full line including both lingerie and knitwear.
If you cast your mind back to the star studded Stella McCartney launch and the Matthew Williamson party with Grace Jones in attendance, speculation for the font row of the show is already in full swing.
We are pleased to reveal that The Fash Pack will be attendance and will be reporting and tweeting live from the event for you so stay tuned.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are designing a range of sunglasses for The Row’s next season collection. The range, which will be produced by Linda Farrow - high fashion, high luxury eyewear designer, who also designs for Raf Simons, Matthew Williamson and Dries van Noten - will feature a classic metal aviator, an oversized square frame, a vintage-inspired brown rimmed frame and a pair of 60s inspired round shades.
“Designing eye wear was definitely more complicated than we thought,” said the twins, who hinted that if the collection is successful they may expand the range, and possibly branch into accessories.

This season saw some great British designers and brands come back to London Fashion Week to celebrate the event's 25th anniversary with Matthew Williamson and Burberry being two amongst many. Despite the comeback of these great brands, we couldn't help but feel the absense of Giles Deacon who left London this season to show his collection in Paris. Although, it appears that we might have missed him more than he's missed us.
When asked if he was disappointed that he wasn't in London during the festivities he told Grazia Daily: "No, not really because I was in Paris. The thing with fashion week is that we're always working. I heard there were some great shows though, and that it was a really buoyant event. I'm a big fan of Christopher [Kane]'s work and I think Roksanda [Ilincic] does some beautiful things. I also think Burberry put on a fantastic show getting that front row."

For Spring/Summer 2008, we saw the legendary Prince perform at Matthew Williamson's show and last season saw VV Brown perfrom at Ashish during London Fashion Week at London's Hippodrome.
For their Spring/Summer 2010 collection, design duo Victor & Rolf followed suit with a performer at their show during Paris Fashion Week. Sporting a huge pink tutu dress with black jeans, the highly pregnant Róisín Murphy wowed the crowd at the brand's show performing two of her new tracks, 'Royality' and 'Demon Lover'.

From Runway to Realway, Matthew Williamson's S/S10 collection is already setting trends. With his return to London after 7 years, his latest show is a perfect celebration of London's 25th anniversary of fashion. Although the show was a clear progression from his bohemian goddess looks of nearly a decade ago, the grown up glamour was a winning departure. The collection was awash with sugary tones and soft metallics, with the usual bold prints a lot more subdued, only appearing in a few signature pieces. Instead luxurious leathers, statement embellishments and cut-out details stole the show, but overall subtlety was the key for success.
Teaming leather trousers with a hint of pattern from her headscarf and jacket, this London based design student sums up the trend perfectly, whilst adding her own personal stamp to the look.
