The line-up isn't surprising. Versace favourites Abbey Lee Kershaw, Sasha Pivovarova, Lindsey Wixson and Daphne Groeneveld all appear with bright blonde hair styled by Joe McKenna and shot by Mert & Marcus.

Edward Enninful Celebrates His First Big Issue At W With A Strong Cover

For the September cover story for W magazine, Kristen Stewart is unrecognisable. The 'Twilight' actress, known for her tomboy aesthetic and scowl-ly attitude, was all 60s glamour in the cover story shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The cover marks Edward Enninful's first issue for the magazine and if it's anything to go by, there are a lot of exciting developments coming from the magazine in the near future.

Kate Moss Covers Emmanuelle Alt's Second French Vogue

Emmanuelle Alt's second cover of French Vogue is out, and it features none other than Kate Moss - being groped by three men at various angles. The cover was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in London. We've taken note of how much clothing Moss is wearing, especially for a May issue of a magazine notorious for its willingness to bare skin.

So far, Alt has stuck to supermodels for her cover stars. Moss follows April cover star Gisele Bundchen on her way to the newsstands.

Hakaan Plays With Femininity And Androgyny

Life isn't too bad for Hakaan Yildirim. Despite the fact that we are now in the forth week of fashion week, the fashion crowd were out in full force for his show this week. Not many new designers can call famed photographer Mert Alas a director for their brand and even less can call the likes of Carine Roitfeld and Kate Moss as fans.

The collection was the perfect mix of femininity and masculinity. The collection opened with tailored trosuers teamed with sheer tops with simple relaxed fit slouched jackets. Black leather appeared on outwear that came as jackets at the front and were long at the back with a zig-zag detail. Leather later came on a vampy mini dress worn by Natalia Vodianova with classy black heels. Towards the end of the collection the designer showed a beautiful halter dress with feather detail from the hips downwards, that should come with a warning sign prompting prospective wearers to renew their gym memberships with immediate effect.

Lacoste recently revealed that they are plannign to revamp the brand in the new year. The first stage of their new marketing strategy was to update their well known tagline "Un Peu d'Air Sur Terre" - meaning 'A Bit of Air on Earth' - to 'Unconventional Chic'. The new tagline appears in their new campaign featuring Anja Rubik, Noah Mills, Jon Kortajarena and Liya Kebede shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, all sporting the brand's iconic white polo shirt over black eveningwear.

Stefano Tonchi's Begins To Make His Mark At W, With His First Cover

Image via fashionologie

Take a sneak peek at the August 2010 issue of W - the magazine's first cover under the direction of new editor-in-chief, Stefano Tonchi - featuring Mad Men's Jon Hamm and Rebecca Hall, as we reported back in May. The cover shows signs of things to come for W, starring the up and coming actors, and shot by lesser known photographer Nathaniel Goldberg. The choice of photographer is a stark contrast to the history of the magazine, which at one point in time continuously featured the likes of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Steven Klein et al.

The focus on rising, underground talent continues as the September issue cover - which was originally said to be starring Lindsay Lohan - will feature a group of young talent, the ones to watch, including Emma Roberts, Zoe Kravitz and Jennifer Lawrence. Now we just have to wait a month to see W's content with Tonchi at the helm, and by the looks of things W is taking a change for the better.
