We'd like to thank you, Mr Lagerfeld, for sparking the trend for collaborations on the high street. Adding to the ever-long list of partnerships making the high street fabulously fashionable, this season will see party queen Pearl Lowe's collection for Peacocks. Arriving perfectly in time for all those last minute Christmas dress dilemmas, the entire collection is under £40, and therefore friendly to our purses as well as being perfect for the party season.
Not content with being a model and DJ, reports today confirm that Daisy Lowe is indeed launching her own jewellery line.
‘I’m doing a jewellery line for Swarovski that comes out in January. It’s four pieces – a necklace, bracelet, ring and set of earrings,’ she’s told Grazia. ‘They’re kind of magical in a dark, romantic way. I’ve incorporated black and white, star and moon crystals and multiple strands of chains. I wanted it to be about the earth, moon and planetary movements, all that kind of weird stuff.’
Designing jewellery is only for the beginning for Lowe. It looks like a design career may be in the horizons. . ‘I’m so in love with fashion and playing with clothes, so I would never say no [to designing fashion.] My mum just did a line for Peacocks and said she wouldn’t do it unless I modelled for her. She’s got such amazing style, but she loves all that Victoria, high-neck, big puffy sleeve stuff. I said to her, “Mum, I can’t be that covered up!” So I helped change things a bit. I think it would be really fun for the two of us to eventually design together because our styles are so different.’
