Alberta Ferretti snagged Emma Watson to help roll out a green-focused, organic capsule collection, which eco-friendly fashion-lovers will be pleased to know goes on sale today. Keeping with the brand's signature femininity, the range offers accessible, wearable pieces like sundresses, a maxi skirt, a basic white shirt and denim shorts. (Our favourite is a black-lace embroidered dress in organic cotton poplin.) Lace embroidery plays throughout the line, which will be sold exclusively online through Alberta Ferretti's website. Watson has arranged to donate a portion of the range's profits to People Tree, the fair-trade fashion retailer with whom she's previously partnered.
People Tree is the latest brand to succumb to the charms of Emma Watson. The 19 year old Harry Potter star, who is also the current face of Burberry has been acting as a creative advisor for a new range in collaboration with the ethical label. The self confessed hard worker who has barely had a moment to settle into her new life as a university freshman at Brown university, is said to have "attended every design meeting over the five month process".
