Hilary Rhoda attended the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards last night with Rebecca Minkoff and naturally, was wearing the designer on the red carpet.
For the event she opted for this three-toned blue colour-blocked dress with the thigh high slit that continues to dominate on the red carpet, which flashed off her simple strappy Rebecca Minkoff heels. While the looks does work for her, I wish she would shake things up a bit and opt for something more unusual and interesting rather than going safe.

Kristen Stewart was out and about this morning in Cannes promoting her movie, 'On The Road' at it's photo call during the Cannes Film Festival. For the occasion she mixed her statement printed Balenciaga trousers with a simple tee and classic black blazer from Rebecca Minkoff. The look isn't the best we have seen from the Cannes photo calls but it definitely taps into her laid back aesthetic.
What do you think of her look?
Our review of the Rebecca Minkoff show is coming soon but in the meantime, enjoy these images of all the goings on backstage at the show.

Since the launch of her personal style blog, Fashion Toast, Rumi Neely's life has definitely changed. Regular followers of her blog have seen images of the blogger-come-stylist jet setting to Japan several times each year and travelling across Europe to attend the shows. To cement her new style icon status, Neely has designed a five-piece collection of jewellery with Dannijo and Tobi which is set to launch this fall and has also signed on the style a shoot for Revolve Clothing.
It's strange to think that she was actually embarrassed to tell friends about her blog when she started it. “I didn’t tell my friends about it because I knew they would make fun of me,” she told The Cut. “I never really thought anyone would read my blog — thus the random name.” Boasting over a million hits per month, readers are obsessed with Rumi's boho style and photography. "There's definitely a stronger emphasis on the photography, as both my boyfriend Colin and I have gotten pretty into it," she said when asked how the blog has developed over the years.
She continues to grow from strength to strength notably fronting big modelling gigs for the likes of Rebecca Minkoff, Free People and of course, Forever 21. But the best thing is that she doesn't seem fazed by it at all. “I try not to keep numbers in mind when doing some simple blog-related activity like getting dressed or taking a photo on the street,” she said. “It really isn’t too natural to have something that mundane actually matter. I think I’m pretty boring.”
