Penelope Cruz knows how to make a statement on the red carpet. Usually the actress is all about drama but to attend the 60th San Seabstian Film Festival she was appropriately understated.
The silk red vintage Gianni Versace strapless gown looks chic and classic and not fussy and the pleat details helps add that little bit extra. To finish off the look, Cruz teamed the dress with a pair of red satin Salvatore Ferragamo sandals, which could easily have caused to her to blend into the red carpet, but strangely works.

Last week Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the launch of their new pillar fragrance, Attimo, with a star studded party at The Standard, New York. The hip event - designed and produced by Bronson van Wyck with music from DJ Kiss - brought the likes of Irina Lazareanu and Agyness Deyn, as well of course the face of the new fragrance itself, uber cool Californian model Dree Hemingway.
Attimo - which is Italian for a precious moment of "Gioia di vivere" (love of life) - celebrates the pleasure of living, and encapsulates Ferragamo's chic Italian essence, innate elegance, timeless glamour and irresistable seduction. The campaign for the perfume, featuring Dree Hemingway, was shot by renowned photographer Craig McDean in Paris, whilst Rome became the background for the commercial, shot by Paul Mignot. Attimo will launch on July 23rd, exclusively at Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques and Bloomingdales before launching nationwide to other retailers mid September.
