Most of my teens were spent trying to emulate any look that Sienna Miller was sporting at a given time. Over the last few years though, her fashion star has waned but now, just three months after giving birth to her first child, it looks like she's set to make a comeback both on the big screen and sartorially.
Over the weekend she arrived at the Hamptons International Film Festival wearing a dress and cape by Alessandra Rich that shared an uncanny resemblance to the Tom Ford creation that Gwyneth Paltrow wore to the Oscars. And the look really worked for her. While the whole bohemian things worked in the early 00s, it was time for a shake-up and the more polished looks that she's come up with over the last few days are promising hint at what's to come, especially since she's out and about now promoting her latest film, 'Factory Girl'.
Earlier on this week it was confirmed that Savannah Miller would make a return to fashion after stepping down from the label she created with younger sister Sienna Miller back in January. Reports alleged that the new line would be unveiled during London Fashion Week but it actually took place yesterday morning and by the sounds of it, Twenty8Twelve fans have everything to be excited about.
The clothes don't seem to be a huge departure from what she did at Twenty8Twelve but unlike that brand, the pieces are a lot more affordable but great quality. Expect 'contemporary global travller' inspired knitwear jumpers priced at £40 and a good dose of outerwear for no more than £175. While the pieces are nothing different from what's already out there right now, there's no denying that the line features easy accessibly-priced pieces are worth adding to your wardrobe.
The line will be available soon exclusively on Nelly.com
I was really sad to see Sienna and Savannah Millerpart ways with their label Twenty8Twelve earlier on this year. While the prices were on the high side for what they were offering, the collection were always easy and wearable but in a good way. All is not lost though because Savannah is reportedly preparing for a comeback.
According to Grazia the new fashion line, which we still don't know the name of, is set to become available in Europe and the US from November this year and will be unveiled to a small group during London Fashion Week. What the designs will look like is still unclear but if Twenty8Twelve is anything to go by, a grown up take on the whole boho look is definitely on the cards.
We're officially well into April so you know what that means; a summer full of festivals is just around the corner and first up is Coachella which kicks off this weekend.
Unlike it's British counterparts, Coachella is one festival where you can count on the weather being good and therefore wardrobe friendly. Since dodging mud spots aren't an issue, it's okay to worth in a good sandal or pair of ankle boots this year. Dean and Dan Caten really went to town the festival aesthetic at their S/S12 Dsquared2 show so do as they did and team tiny denim shorts with loose relaxed tops or opt for bright maxi dresses that Sienna Miler circa 2008 would be proud of.

Stefano Tonchi of W magazine took a break from the shows to partner with Joanne Crewes to host an event for 'The Ever Changing Face Of Beauty', a video installation created by Sølve Sundsbø. While all the attention went to Sienna Miller and her baby bump, the outfits worn by Evan Rachel Wood, Liya Kebede and Cate Blachett, were definitely worth some attention.
This morning Sienna and Savannah Miller announced that they have stepped down from their roles as co-creative directors of their brand, Twenty8Twelve. 'We’ve had a brilliant six years at Twenty8Twelve and are now looking forward to new pastures,' the told WWD. 'We wish the brand the best of luck for the future.'
No replacements will be made and the company will continue under the direction of Vanessa James and Elsa Elphick who are already part of the current design team, they confirmed. What will change, though, is the name as it will now be called Twenty8Twelve London and 'by S. Miller' will be dropped. The brand's show next month will be the first collection without the sisters creative involvement.
Sienna Miller has kept a low profile recently but after giving evidence at The Leverson inquiry in London yesterday, the actress hit the red carpet to attend and host the Lancel '135 Years of French Legerete' in Paris and looked amazing while doing so. Opting for this sexy black lace dress by Emilio Pucci, Miller really reminded me of why we all fell in love with her style back in 2004 and something tells me that she has a comeback in the works.
Whether your attending in person or watching their livestream in the comfort of your home, the Burberry show is a must see and it's not just about the clothes.
If there's any show at London Fashion Week that brings in the big names, it's Burberry and yesterday was no different. The usuals like Mario Testino, Anna Wintour, Sienna Miller, Lily Donaldson and Rachel Zoe were joined by Kanye West, Ellie Goulding, Gemma Arterton and Burberry Body face Rosie Huntington-Whiteley on the front row.
