Surprise! Sloane Street has another glitzy triumph in the revamped Gucci flagship, designed by Frida Giannini with Art Deco in mind. The 20,000-square-foot shop opened in 1990 and now has, well, a bit more polished gold than before.

"I wanted to amplify the luxurious and intimate sensibility of the Gucci boutique environment to create an aesthetic that complements the history of the house, but at the same time ensures that it is thoroughly contemporary," Giannini told Vogue.

To celebrate the makeover, Gucci has launched a special range of products including a limited-edition 'Sloaney Bag' and a ring with all the classics, darling: 18-carat white gold, diamonds and aquamarine.
