Back in April Lily Cole was unveiled as the new and first face of The Body Shop. When the news was announced the brand confirmed that Cole will collaborate on special collections as well as lending her face to the campaigns, and this week the first images of her debut collection were revealed.

The limited edition collection backed by the model includes products like Pearl Radiance Primer and Shimmer Cubes are are all 100 per cent vegetarian and cruelty-free.

Lily Cole has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world and now she's been tapped by The Body Shop. Last week the brand announced her appointments as their first global brand advocate and on Thursday she had her first outing at an event in London.

But the partnership isn't like the usual model-cosmetics brand partnership because as well as lending her face to the campaigns, Cole will also help promote their 'Beauty With Heart' campaign, which celebrates the mantra 'look good, feel good, do good'. 'We were talking for a year, and I can’t tell you how inspired I’ve been by the work that [The Body Shop has] done,' the model said at the event. 'I think they’re such an aspirational business, and an aspirational model to other businesses, to show that you can have a really positive attitude to the people, planet and animals, and that you can also be really successful.'
