Now that nine months or so of legal drama over 'Project Runway' has concluded, Tim Gunn and team Lifetime have released a few details about the sixth-season contestants.
First off, they range in age from 24 to 50 (here's lookin' at you, Rodney Epperson). Second, although most hail from the US, there are contestants from Bosnia, Russia and the Republic of Georgia. And third, at least one of them might be naughty! Gunn says there's a cheating scandal (again?) and that "the blogs will be clogged". OK.
The next season, which was taped in LA to accommodate Heidi Klum's schedule, starts Aug. 20 on Lifetime. Will you watch?

Piper Perabo
Suspicious of theatre fashion? Check out these looks from the 2009 Lucille Lortel Awards, which honoured the year's best Off-Broadway plays. We're sure opinionated members of the style industry - including Fern Mallis, Tim Gunn and Christian Sirano - gave their opinions once or twice.

The Project Runway Season 5 finalist, who was arrested for assault on 17 March after an altercation with her boyfriend, has pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct yesterday. Collins' ex says she hurled the kitty, Arlo, at him, along with other common weapons like apples, a laptop and water. Collins says it was more of a gentle toss with Arlo. The judge says she owes $120 and can't contact her ex for two years. Tim Gunn would like all of them to make it work.

Aww, fond reality-TV memories: Daniel V (aka Daniel Vosovic, he of the flower-and-stem outfit in Season 2 Project Runway) is set to debut a namesake clothing line in February 2010. With price points similar to Alexander Wang and Phillip Lim (no four-digits), and touches of "more hip, downtown. Jil Sander, Narciso Rodriguez", we're sure he'll have a built-in fanbase. After all, he's already made it work with his own book and a handful of other design projects.
