Take A Sneak Peak At Opening Ceremony's New Magazine

Opening Ceremony have been on a roll this year. 2012 marks the retailer's 10th anniversary, they recently opened a pop-up shop in London, collaborated with Adidas on a special Olympic-themed collection and have embraced all things Olympics. And that's not it. Back in May the company confirmed that they will launch a fashion and culture magazine in August and yesterday the first few images from the debut issue were revealed.

The magazine, titled OC Annual, is fittingly dedicated to all things sports. Terence Koh and Tim Barber appear in a feature on cycling, Wonderland fashion editor Julia Sarr-Jamois and Sean Thomas on the 'cream of British equestrian society' and Pat Cleveland and Carol Alt appear in an editorial demonstrating the 'art' of power walking.

Will you pick it up when it launches on Sunday?

Opening Ceremony Prepare To Unveil A Magazine

2012 is proving to be a big year for Opening Ceremony. This year marks their 10th anniversary, recently we reported that the store is coming to London this summer and today WWD confirmed that it will launch a fashion and culture magazine this August.

'As magazine fanatics, O.C. founder Humberto Leon and myself are aiming to create a collectible publication for a new generation, something beautiful and special n the vein of Benetton’s ‘Colors,’ Comme des Garçons’ ‘Six’ and Joe McKenna’s ‘Joe',' co-founder Carol Lim said in an internal memo. 'We want to make a magazine that will appeal to kids in Nebraska as much as industry people.' The magazine will be called OC and each issue will be based around a theme, the first of which is a tribute to the Olympics. Leading photographers like Tim Barber and Bruce Weber have already signed up to contribute.
