So we'll admit it, we're addicted to social networking just like the next good fashionista. We can't help but follow our favourite designers on Twitter, and upload all of last night's fabulous soiree photos onto Facebook. Then came the nightlife inspired Gucci Eyeweb site, and now Burberry are making social networking the height of fashion, with Art Of The Trench.

There is no doubt that since MAC burst onto the makeup scene back in 1984, they have made a dramatically credible impact on the fashion industry. Not only do they provide high quality makeup to the very best artists for shows and shoots, their professional advice can be accessed through their stand alone stores, along with their expert products. As if offering us the best cosmetics, industry secrets and the artists to teach us how to emulate the latest beauty trends is not enough, MAC produce striking limited edition collections - with collaborators ranging from Zandra Rhodes, to Hello Kitty, to Dame Edna Everage - and even feed further back into the industry with their proactive involvement in both London and New York Fashion Weeks, to name a few. Could we ask much more of a makeup brand? We think not, as we take a look back at their involvement in the Spring Summer 2010 collections...

Chanel Iman; Sessilee Lopez
Sessillee Lopez and Chanel Iman are rumoured to be embroiled in a messy feud which has allegedly been played out through Twitter. Well if Twitter is anything to go by, American Elle's Creative Director, Joe Zee, and Jane Cha, executive director of 'Project Runway' had dinner with who else but renowned director of 'The September Issue', R.J.Cutler. It looks as though Peaches Geldof has been taking a leaf out of Cheryl Cole's stylebook, though the two girls couldn't be more different.
Yesterday, Peaches debuted her new hair colour to her avid Twitter followers. "I just dyed my hair dark purple," Peaches posted, accompanying her announcement with photos of her new cherry locks. It seems red is becoming more popular among the Brits - saying a final goodbye to the unfashionable reputation of redheads.

We can't help but spot the uncanny resemblance of Rihanna's new half shaved hair do to our favourite Elle girl, Kate Lanphear.
Is it possible that the singer took inspiration from American Elle's style editor? Joe Zee seems to think so. "Rihanna shaves part of her head but our own Kate Lanphear has been sporting that same cut for months now," he tweeted.

After Erin Wasson stopped styling for bestie Alexander Wang, the young designer got Alastair McKimm on board. However, Fashionologie report that Calvin Klein stylist Karl Templer is tipped to style Wang's spring/summer 2010 collection next season, replacing McKimm.
Wasson's keeping busy. Joe Zee tweeted that she is busy working on her second styling job at ELLE this week.
