The press have been harsh to Zac Posen over the last few years. His collections have largely been badly receieved by key journalists in New York leading him to up ship to Paris. But he hasn't completely turned his back on New York.

This week WWD revealed that the designer is set to launch his first stand alone store in the Big Apple's meatpacking district, which will serve as the base for his contemporary affordable line Z Spoke.

The store opens on Washington Street between 12th and 14th on August 25.
