You have Paris and Peaches mingling, Sharon Stone hosting, Bill Clinton as the guest of honour and 50 Cent stepping out of the club and into the paparazzi pit. Our favourite picks of the night are Marion Cotillard, Zhang Ziyi, and (of course) Carine Roitfeld.

The paparazzi frenzy that is Brangie stepped out for the 'Inglourious Basterds' premiere at the Cannes Film Festival today, with Angelina Jolie sporting the everpresent nude trend. Dita von Teese and Zhang Ziyi went a bit darker, let's just say Robert Pattinson looked very, very, very nice.

If they would've had Barack Obama and Susan Boyle, then they might've had everyone. Salma Hayek's second wedding to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault took up a whole weekend (with a celeb-filled masquerade ball and nuptials at Venice's La Fenice theatre), which saw everyone from Charlize Theron to Bono to former French president Jacques Chirac dressing to the nines.

Then, of course, came Penelope Cruz, Lily Cole, Stella McCartney, Anna Wintour, Zhang Ziyi, Ed Norton...and Woody Harrelson?

Hayek and Pinault - who have a daughter, 1-year-old Valentina Paloma - originally wed in February in Paris. But since they met in the Italian city, what better way to renew their love?
