Eddie Borgo's campaigns are always good. Okay, so maybe that's an understatement but nonetheless, the fact that I can remember at least the last three pretty vividly is a good sign and his latest one illustrates why that is. Rather than sticking with editors (Kate Lanphear and Giovanna Battaglia have starred in his campaigns before), Borgo tapped The Kills front woman Alison Mosshart to front the campaign, and it works.
Mosshart's tough-girl, rocker aesthetic works perfectly with his strong, architectural pieces and unlike other partnerships we've heard about recently, you can actually imagine the musician wearing the pieces anyway. 'I think of his jewellery as sculptures designed with one final angle in mind, us, the moves we make, the turns we take, the rambling bliss of the body in human traffic?' she told WWD. The pairing came about after Lanphear introduced the pair over dinner in Paris. 'I was completely taken when I first saw her perform,' Borgo told style.com. 'She is a poet, a writer, a performer, an artist, an intellectual, and a musician.'
Anyone that follows Derek Blasberg on Twitter will know that the New York based writer was in town yesterday to celebrate the launch of his new book 'Very Classy'. To help mark the event, Poppy Delevigne, Leith Clark and Alison Mosshart co-hosted a cocktail party for him in the Gucci store on Bond Street followed by a private dinner at Soho House.

Jenny Lewis of Jenny & Johnny; Alison Mosshart of The Kills
Jenny Lewis and Alison Mosshart both worked more-than-basic black for their performances at Coachella this weekend. Lewis opted for an updated '50s-pinup style, while Mosshart teamed an oversize Ksubi shirt with jeans and boots.
So, the New York Fashion Week gossip circuit reopens. It seems The Kills will be in NYC during the eight-day festivities, which means several things. Yes, it means we can admire Alison Mosshart's style. But more pressingly, it means we can assume Kate Moss will be there with Jamie Hince.
We admit it's hard to keep track of the status of that relationship, so who knows whether they'll actually be together by the second week in February? But even if they do split, for now let's assume they'll get back together. We'd so love to see Kate giving the cat stare from the front row.
Rumours surfaced this week that Alison Mosshart - lead singer of The Kills and bandmate of Kate Moss' boyfriend, Jamie Hince - had plans up her sleeve for a clothing line. Specifically, the rumour mill had her designing and modeling for the high-street chain New Look.
However, Grazia now confirms that there's no such deal, and that's information directly from New Look. For now, Kate is unchallenged in the fashion department.
