Miranda Kerr and husband Orlando Bloom are the proud parents of a baby boy. Despite rumours that she had flown to Australia to prepare for the birth, the Victoria's Sceret model actually went into labour last yesterday morning in Los Angeles, where the couple have just bought a new home.

'We did get a text on Boxing Day saying she had gone into labour but it was a false alarm but I can confirm she did go into labour early this morning," a relative told The Daily Mail. Sources confirm that the model gave birth to a healthy bay boy at 8pm last night with her parents in attendance.

On Friday Claudia Schiffer gave birth to a beautiful baby girl - her third with husband Matthew Vaughn.The couple are yet to release the baby's name but are reported to make an announcement later this week.
