Brooke Shields' look in 'Pretty Baby' helped inspire a sweet collection from Giorgio Armani shown today at Milan Fashion Week. Gone (well, mostly) were the pantsuits and strong shoulders, and even the once-signature beige. In place of that, the designer sent out tiny party dresses - sometimes paired with shorts - plenty of cleavage and shimmer galore.
Visible bras signaled a return to '90s-era states of undress, but overall, the line felt...younger than normal. Still dignified, but it seemed that many of the satin and chiffon looks could have been adopted by a cute party girl with places to be.
But despite a bit of bling, and all those displays of, shall we say, the feminine mystique, Mr Armani said the whole thing was about "innocence". We definitely didn't see any naughty fashion crimes on the runway, now that he mentions it.

Jordin Sparks was feeling a little blue at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards this weekend. The singer is getting iffy reviews for her new album, Battlefield, but that has no bearings on her fashion sense, right?
How do you like her style?

Pixie Geldof, like The Fash Pack, seems to be interested in testing out the denim-jacket trend. At last night's premiere of 'Bruno' in London's Leicester Square, she topped a halter mini dress with a few necklaces and a casual cover-up. Do you like what she's doing for the Sacha Baron Cohen show?

Tory Burch won last year's CFDA Award for Accessory Designer of the Year, so this year's ceremony should be a bit less nerve-wracking. In a gold-and-blue asymmetric gown, does she have your vote? And - for her - more importantly, what about that gold clutch?

Heather Graham looked cooler than ever at the UK premiere of 'The Hangover' last night in a blue, little-to-the-imagination dress. Do you like it, or is it too much?

It's too late Coachella has already come and gone. The more casual looks in Anna Sui's Resort 2010 collection would have been just perfect for listening to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in a field.

We could discuss the geometry of Peaches Geldof's blue-satin frock at the 'Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' premiere in Cannes, but isn't it more fun to analyse the 'do? Do you like the modified Heidi braid with a hint of fauna?

It was a blue night (cymbal clash) for Elizabeth Banks last night at the 'Up' film party at Cannes. Asymmetrical hems: do you approve?
