Life is sweet for Brad Goreski. Since leaving his position as style director under Rachel Zoe and her Bravo TV series 'The Rachel Zoe Project', his career has continued to grow.
The last year has seen him style editorials in Harper's Bazaar and he also managed to bag his own reality show but now he's adding journalist to his burgeoning resume. For the mens shows in Milan, Goreski has taken over the reigns of Details magazine's Twitter account and will also keep readers up-to-date with his life through regular diary posts on the magazine's website over the week.
This weekend saw Mary J Blige, Queen Latifah and Elle's Robbie Myers host the second annual Mary J. Blige honors concert held at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom.
Will you be watching "It's a Brad World"? That's one of the latest TV shows coming up on Bravo, and it'll star none other than former Rachel Zoe assistant Brad Goreski. The programme will follow Goreski to fashion week, watch as he runs his business and, well, just offer an inside peek into his daily life.
We find this especially interesting after the reported fueds Goreski and Zoe had over clients. Will they now have to split their TV fans, too?
This week a source revealed that Demi Moore has parted ways from her long-time stylist Rachel Zoe and has hired the stylist's former assistant Brad Goreski. This marks the second time one of Zoe's clients that have swapped her in favour of one of her former assistants - last year Kate Beckinsale notably hired Taylor Jacobson.
"Brad is dressing Demi for the Oscar parties, and he also dressed her at Sundance," a source told the New York Post. "Rachel is furious. Brad assisted her in styling Demi. Now she feels betrayed."
Today Rachel's Zoe's right hand man, Brad Goreski, announced that he's moving on and going alone from next month. But don't worry, the split was amicable. “I love Rachel and she’s taught me everything I know," Goreski told People. "But there’s a point where either I do it now or I’ll never know what it’s like to spread my wings and soar.” Despite having a messy split, Taylor Jacobson is now stylingKate Beckinsale since leaving Zoe so I think it's safe to say that Brad will be okay.
Update:
According to popeater.com, the split was actually far from amicable. A source allegedly told the gossip website that, "Brad was sick of doing all the work while Rachel got all the credit," a fashion insider tells me. "While Rachel feels used by Brad. She feels as if she taught him everything and the second he got a chance to leave her high and dry he did."
As the website points out, this is a far cry from what the pair have said since the announcement was made. "He did this with such class and elegance," Zoe told People magazine, with Brad adding, "I hope she'll continue to teach me more and more."
