Rachel Zoe Reveals All About Her Rift With Taylor Jacobson

For months we've all been speculating what happened between Rachel Zoe and her first assistant Taylor Jacobson after the assistant dramatically left the stylist at the end of the second season of 'The Rachel Zoe Project'. Despite the show suggesting that she left because she wanted a new challenge, Page Six claimed that the rift was caused by Jacobson stealing samples. It doesn't stop there. As we previously reported, Zoe has been said to have tried to black list Jacobson's name to prevent her getting access to samples.

Zoe has since refused to comment but has finally decided to break her silence this week. When asked by WWD whether the theft rumour was true she said, "That was so real that I cannot even tell you how real that actually was. It was like, I hired Brad [Goreski], this little angel, and then Taylor just went in for the kill. And I, like, did not see that coming. I always knew what she was capable of, but who knew that was going to happen with the camera?" And it didn't stop there. When asked whether she is still in touch with Jacobson she said, The answer to that would be: I would love to tell you but I would have to kill you. You'll see it on season three [of The Rachel Zoe Project, premiering Aug. 3 on Bravo]." Just in case she didn't make it clear enough that she's not interested in what Taylor is doing she said, "The last thing I want to hear is something good about Taylor."

Something makes me think that this could be a publicity stunt to plug the new season but maybe I'm being to cynical.

What do you think?

Taylor Jacobson Leaves Rachel Zoe

We die (although most people could probably see this one coming). Taylor Jacobsen, who's worked with Rachel Zoe for the past four years and featured on Bravo's 'The Rachel Zoe Project', is no longer with Rachel Zoe Inc. Sources claim she was fired, though a rep for Zoe would only say that she's left the company.

Jacobson often butted heads with Zoe and her coworker Brad Goreski, and she had stated on the show that she felt unfulfilled with her career. She wrote on her Twitter account: "Today is an end of an era and a beginning of a new professional chapter. Looking forward to what the future brings...!!!"

There's no word about how this will affect Zoe's reality show, but we can only hope it's just as bananas as ever.

Quote Me: Rachel Zoe's Assistant Speaks Up

You'll see a lot more of what we do just day-to-day, from the travel to the awards season. Being the three of us, it's always two against one. So I think the audience will be wondering, who's out of the loop this week?

Quote Me: Brad Goreski Stands Out From The Crowd

I do tend to look like a fish out of water sometimes in L.A. It's buttoned-up, and yet that's breaking the rules here. You should see the looks I get at the gym, the way some guys look at me when I'm coming out on my way to work."
