'The Beautiful Life', CWs new fashion drama produced by Ashton Kutcher and loosely based around his life as a model before he broke into acting, has been axed by the CW network following continuously weak ratings.
The show, which had drawn in the likes of Mischa Barton, Elle Macpherson and Corbin Bleu, and Zac Posen for a cameo role, was set to be the new high-gloss/high-fashion drama we had been looking forward to whilst we awaited for the return of 'Gossip Girl'.
Mischa Barton, after spending nearly two weeks under involuntary psychiatric hold, is on her way back to the set of her new show, 'The Beautiful Life'. Executive producer Ashton Kutcher dispelled previous rumours that the actress was to be replaced on the programme. "I can tell you right now she is doing great," he said.
'The Beautiful Life', also starring Elle Macpherson and 'High School Musical' actor Corbin Bleu, is set to resume filming this Friday, according to the Daily Mail. The show stars Barton as a drug-addicted supermodel living in New York.
