Britain's Next Top Model has undergone a much-needed revamp. Previously presided over and presented by Lisa Snowdon, the show is now in the hands of Ms Elle Macpherson, aka The Body. Macpherson, who made her name as a supermodel but is now also known for her business acumen, has decided to divert some of her energies into presenting the show, as well as acting as an executive producer.
Ms Macpherson shared her excitement through a statement, saying: "I am really enthusiastic to work with the team of Britain's Next Top Model. We are looking forward to finding the face that can represent the next generation." Will this new appointment finally make a worthy rival for the US version. Expect to see 25 aspiring models put through their paces by the Australian-born, golden-maned yummy mummy - and perhaps we'll even see them dressed in some Elle Macpherson Intimates lingerie over the course of the competition. Only time will tell, but we'll be keeping our eyes peeled when the show airs on Living TV in the summer.
Today began Berlin Fashion Week, and in our first round of highlights, we bring you looks from the Elle Macpherson Intimates lingerie range and the Black Coffee Fashion Show. Plus, Justin Timberlake made his appearance at the Bread and Butter fashion trade fair to show off his line William Rast, which has just made its European debut.
"Designing lingerie has been my passion for the last 20 years," says Elle Macpherson. So naturally, the undies-designing supermodel was on hand Thursday to kick off the Fashion and Textile Museum's new exhibition, "Undercover: The Evolution of Underwear".
