Grammy fashion, overall, was just as skintight and shiny as usual for 2010 - with the exception of Lady Gaga-inspired futurism and a few classic evening looks, a la Taylor Swift and Nicole Kidman. The evening saw Fergie hit the red carpet in electric-blue Pucci, Keri Hilson sport a fishtail-style Dolce & Gabbana gown, and Jennifer Hudson wear Victoria Beckham, to name a few.
Who wins your award for best-dressed of the night?
Rihanna picked a chiffon-applique, feather-accented Elie Saab gown for the 2010 Grammys tonight. To finish, she added jewels from Neil Lane and Diamond in the Rough.
Ciara and Britney Spears both opted for the sheer trend on the 2010 Grammys red carpet, with Ciara showing up in a full-length Givenchy look and Brit arriving in Dolce & Gabbana.
Lady Gaga chose custom-made Giorgio Armani Prive for the 52nd-Annual Grammy Awards tonight, and we can't help but do a double-take at the singer's hoops, crystals, spikes...we could go on.
Coco Rocha is reporting live from the Grammys tonight (in a special gig for E! Canada), and as promised, she showed up to the red carpet in her own design. We'd been curious to see what her Victorian-inspired collection would look like, and just as importantly, what it would be called. Now, the 21-year-old supermodel has revealed via Twitter that her new range will have a simple but catchy name: Rococo.
Rocha previously asked readers of her blog, Oh So Coco, to help name the line - and it looks like Rococo beat out other suggestions like "Volubilis” and “Oleander." Now, all we have to wonder is what Ms Coco will do in September. She's hinted that a fashion-week presentation might be in the future, and we'd love to see the Canadian fashion darling presenting clothes to Anna Wintour in a new way.
Rihanna chose to make herself a piece of human origami Saturday night at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala in Beverly Hills. Looks like conceptual is in for spring.
