The ever sultry, ever sexy Megan Fox has been announced as the new face of the equally seductive label, Armani. It seems Giorgio Armani has a very strong idea of his Armani woman, as Fox has been widely compared to Giorgio's existing muse, Angelina Jolie, who had been wrongly rumoured to be starring in the latest campaigns. With her femme fetale looks, and darkly interesting personality, it is without doubt Fox will fit in well with the label as she goes on to replace Victoria and David Beckham in the advertising for Emporio Armani Jeans and Armani Underwear in 2010.
It has been revealed that the campaign has already been shot by photography duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, who are well known for their portraits of strong and sophisticated women, with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo replacing David Beckham, although it is known that the pair will not star alongside one another. After seeing her smouldering performance in the recent editorial and front cover in Wonderland, we're sure the results will be steamy. Lock away those boyfriends, ladies.

Roberta Armani and actress Megan Fox at the Giorgio Armani Prive show
Megan Fox has been at the centre of rumours claiming that she is set to replace Victoria Beckham, after she decided not to renew her contract in order to focus on her line.
But it's not only Emporio Armani who are interested in bagging the 'Transformers' actress. It looks like Versace are bidding for her too. Derek Blasberg reports: "Word on the casting couch is that [Fox] is taking over the [Armani] fragrance campaign for Beyonce, AND the fashion campaign also. This, after a Fox bidding war with none other than Versace."

Most of Victoria Beckham's internet attention this week focused on whether she'd be replacing Paula Abdul as a judge on 'American Idol'. (Hey, those Spice Girls days could have come in handy!) The verdict on that one: no. She'll simply be a guest judge for the reality singing competition so she can focus on her designing career.
Now, WWD has reported that Beckham also has declined to renew her contract as the face of Emporio Armani lingerie, for the same reason of focusing on design. With an upcoming New York Fashion Week show in September and good press and sales to match, we can't say we blame her. Although we will miss those shots of her with David Beckham all over our magazines.
But who would take over for Beckham? Joe Zee said that "LA is buzzing that Megan Fox is signed to replace her" but then took his guess back.

Giorgio Armani wants to be clear about one thing: He doesn't see the sour economy as a reason to tone down the flash. At his haute couture show today in Paris, the designer let his models shine with everything from crystal-embellished stilettos to sparkling trouser suits, and guests like Megan Fox seemed to be blinded by the light in a good way.
Although a sportier undertone appeared throughout (think hoodie-and-anorak time), the glam was still in full effect with wild fur cover-ups, cheetah-print cocktail wear and (yes) blue-zebra sequinned evening dresses.
Would these styles from the runway have a place in your ideal closet?

Summer-holiday season is in full swing, so this week we're taking you to the Mediterranean. Cyprus, specifically, where designer Sofia Alexander has her studio. What started as a limited-edition line for high-end boutiques in Cyprus, Greece and Qatar has morphed into a successful line of flirty dresses that channels both the current obsession with Megan Fox and sci-fi fashion.
This week, the designer who's known for her unconventional use of zips, vintage obi belts and abstract materials gives us a slice of her creative side.
