Leigh Lezark is fast becoming one of our favourite models and role models, having pretty much single-handedly (well with the help of the other two DJs who make up the MisShapes collective) championed the just-rolled-out-of-bed look. Always one to buck a trend, yet forever gracing 'best-dressed' lists, the DJ come model is known for outspoken, 'tell it how it is' nature, and her latest comments are a good case in point.

At the Gucci Icon-Temporary store opening last Friday, the model commented on the development of different types of role models for the youth of today, saying, "I'm glad that a lot of kids - even now with the magazines that have come out - have something different to look up to. Not a tall five-foot-ten blonde model.....they can also look up to some faggots and a girl. I think it's great because I wish I'd had that, and I never did."

The ever-lovely Leigh Lezark apparently has decided that DJing and modelling aren't enough in this world. So she's signed on as a brand ambassador for Front Row, a new haircare line by Charles Worthington.

If her perfect locks are anything to go by, then we'd have to say we trust her judgment. But now we just need that wardrobe, too...
