After giving birth in December, Jourdan Dunn has been a busy girl. In February she made her runway comeback at Aquascutum and has recently been shot for an editorial for US Vogue's September issue and was spotted on set of a beauty shoot for i-D.
If that wasn't enough, the latest Victoria's Secret catalogue also features the 20 year-old model which has sparked rumours that she is being signed as the latest angel particularly after it was announced that angel Doutzen Kroes is taking time off to have a baby.
We all knew that Zoe Saldana was working with Calvin Klein but now the campaign has been released, it's clear that she has replaced Eva Mendes as the face of the brand's underwear campaign.
Saldana joins Lara Stone who has also joined the Calvin Klein family as the face of the collection, denim and beuaty range. The campaign is undoubtedly less overtly sexy that what we saw with Mendes and model Jamie Dornan but we were instantly taken by the sensuality.
Last year Kate Moss lent a helping hand to childhood best friend and celebrity hair stylist James Brown when he launched his first salon. Moss also made a cameo role in a documentary following the launch of the salon - which ended up turning into a starring role which the model was reported to be unamused amount - to help bring in press. However, things have taken a turn for the worse.
Despite a reported £3million cash injection from Davinia Taylor's mother, Lynne Murphy, Brown's hair product range has gone into administration and his two other ranges are said to be in serious financial difficulties. According to Company House, Brown currently owes investors £3,602,824 and if recent rumours are anything to go by, Moss is not prepared to bail him out anytime soon. A source told The Daily Mail that, ‘James’s business is really struggling. He asked Kate if she would put some money in but she feels she has done enough already.' However, Brown was quick to release a statement quashing the rumours saying that 'Kate has been very supportive throughout and more than generous. The administration has nothing whatsoever to do with her and is to do with other unrelated factors.’
Life is sweet for Alexa Chung. The last few years have seen her catapult from a mode,l to the face of channel 4's T4 to becoming a fashion icon and conquering America with her own TV show. If that wasn't enough Chung, who is also currently the face of Pepe Jean's spring/summer campaign, has just been signed up to front Lacoste's women's scent. If the success of the Mulberry 'Alexa' bag inspired Chung herself is anything to go by, the scent is set to do well. However, you'll have to wait because the perfume is not available until January next year.
Congratulations to England's Laurence Cope, whose noteworthy physique just won him Calvin Klein's "9 Countries, 9 Men, 1 Winner" pan-European male-model search. Cope won a public vote on the competition website and in stores - and as the winner, he'll receive a one-year modelling contract with Select Model Management, as well as a luxury trip for two to South Africa.
The 19-year-old model lives in London and says he plans to take his mother with him on holiday. He has plenty to celebrate, having bested other potential models from France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain and Sweden, in a competition judged by model Jamie Dornan and other industry experts. The other finalists shouldn't worry too much, though...at least they won a one-year supply of Calvin Klein's finest undergarments.
I hate this thought about saying that only curvy models are chic or something. It's like that thing, 'Isn't it time that a woman won an Academy Award'? No! It's time that a really good artist won an Academy Award. So if I was, like, a curvy model, I'd be like, 'No, I don't want to be a curvy model. I want to be a MODEL.
