Karlie Kloss Likely To Walk In The Victoria's Secret Show

This year many are tipping Karlie Kloss to be the latest addition to the the Victoria's Secret Angels runway line-up on top of already appearing in the brand's catalogue for their Pink Collection.

Although she turned 18 last year - the age required to walk in the show - industry insiders predict that Kloss will make her runway debut for the brand this season. In an interview with Modelina, casting director John Pfeiffer supported the reports:

“Just because a girl has walked before doesn’t mean she’ll walk again. Everything from their bodies to their overall look changes so we have to see them again and again,” John noted. That being said, he is thinking about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show all year long, so by the time the castings role around he already has a number of girls he’s looking forward to seeing. “Bregje [Heinen] is finally 18 so we were really excited to see her. Karlie [Kloss] is also of age this year, so hopefully she’ll walk the show.”

On Friday Doutzen Kroes gave bith to her first child with boyfriend Sunnery James in Amsterdam.

The couple confirmed that they had a boy weighing in at 8lbs, called Phyllon. ”“I’m full of excitement and will enjoy my time with Phyllon and Sunnery,” Doutzen told Modelinia. ”We’re in love with him! Can’t describe this feeling! Phyllon (pronounce: Fillen) is in our life!” James tweeted.

Our favourite models have secretly been undergoing big makeovers. After much speculation, Catherine McNeil's agency has finally confirmed that the model has undergone a big change, releasing this image of her new black bob.

Abbey Lee Kershaw was the first to start the makeover trend this season - deciding to go blonde for the S/S11 shows and cutting her hair to shoulder length for a recent Chanel campaign. Ajak Deng followed suit, also deciding to go blonde after being encouraged by Jimmy Paul and Edward Enninful. “They dyed my hair for Italian Vogue, but everyone seems to like it, so I think I’m going to keep it like this for a while! It was a little shocking,” she told Modelinia. “I was crying, but now I’m trying to rock my new hair!”

Abbey Lee Kershaw Sports Platinum Blonde Hair For Fashion Week

Abbey Lee Kershaw has been looking for a change for a while after cutting her hair recently but has gone one step further and decided to go platinum blonde. "I was ready for a big change," she said as she unveiled her look at the Chanel Soho store opening in New York last night. She plans to keep the look for the whole season "unless a designer asks for it to be changed."

She took the plunge only two days ago so hasn't got a response yet she told Fashionologie. "It took seven hours and I didn’t speak for another four hours," she told Modelina. "I’ve never dyed my hair before. Also I think that with the cut that I’ve got, it was the time to go white.”

Behati Prinsloo Dishes The Details On Coco Rocha's Wedding

Having just stepped foot off the plane from her best friend's wedding in France, Behati Prinsloo just couldn't keep quiet about the private matrimony of Coco Rocha and James Conran even though she had only had four hours of sleep." It was unbelievable,” Behati told Modelinia magazine at a Victoria’s Secret event in Chicago. “When I saw her, I wanted to cry. I still can’t stop thinking about how beautiful the wedding was.”

Of course, the wedding dress designed by Zac Posen was one of the first things that Prinsloo gushed about, explaining that the look of Coco’s wedding dress, was "tight over her body all the way to her knees, then it had this extreme mermaid tail at the bottom. The straps were off the shoulder, and the material looked vintage - it’s sort of hard to explain, you have to see it.”

Only 50 of the newly-wed couple's friends and family attended the ceremony which took place at the same castle in France, where Conran first proposed. We await pictures of the affair to surface soon but in the meantime, congratulations to the happy couple.

Event: Modelinia Hosts Star-Studded Charity Event

With this year's Met Ball dedicated to "The Model a Muse", it was hardly a suprise that Modelinia held an after party for the event celebrating all things modelling.

Once the gala was over, guests including Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Chanel Iman and Coco Rocha made their way to 1Oak for the event hosted by Margherita Missoni in support of OrphanAid Africa.
