Kate Moss is not just a pretty face. The model turned mogul has been busy over the past few years. When she's not designing for her Kate Moss for Topshop line, she's been working on her award-winning self-titled fragrance and helping Sir Phillip Green launch Topshop in the States. I think it's safe to say that the Kate Moss brand is moving from strength to strength, and if recent reports are anything to go by, then it will continue to do so in the near future.
Industry insiders claim that Moss has been brought on by Sir Phillip Green and Simon Cowell to head the style sector of their unnamed business venture that is set to rival Disney. The company is set to merge music, television and talent and is now planning to bring Kate on board to make sure it will 'straddle fashion and showbusiness'.
What is it with models turning to music? Kate's done it and so has Agy and even Tyra Banks turned to the mic for a while. It looks like Daisy Lowe has caught the bug.
According to Grazia, the model has taken a break from modelling to be a backing singer in her boyfriend Will Cameron's band, Blondelle.
However, if her friends are anything to go by, I'm not sure that Lowe should quit her day job anytime soon. "It's really cute seeing them on stage together," a close friend tells Grazia. "Daisy has an OK voice – but she was singing very low, and a bit squeaky."
We all know Dean and Dan Caten from Dsquared2 for their good music at their shows, right? According to WWD, the designers are taking their interest in music that step further. If designing the costumes for Britney's Circus tour wasn't enough, the duo will take to the airwaves on Sirius satellite radio's BPM channel with their own show, Dean and Dan on Air: Style in Stereo.
Their show will play music, both past and present, as well as a soundtrack from their infamous catwalk shows.

What am I supposed to do [in L.A.], canoodle with celebrities at a nightclub, with a lemon-drop Midori in my hand? It’s not the same as being in a bar that smells like urine with all your really smart New York friends.

And just when it seemed that Robert Pattinson had a monopoly on neck-biting press, the iconic Miss Moss has been dubbed a 'vampire' for sartorial theft.
Sixties icon Marianne Faithfull has raged against her former friend for offenses including dressing in a similar style, having boyfriends who resemble Rolling Stones and betraying a fellow Capricorn. "She wanted to read me like a Braille book," Faithfull says to the Times. "And she did. It's a vampirical thing.
"Now I see pictures of her with a boy who looks like Mick Jagger, and her looking like me. So there was a reason. It's one of her gigs to do me."
