Dolce & Gabbana Become Movie Stars

It's official, design duo Dolce & Gabbana are becoming fledgling movie stars. After a brief appearance in Italian director Giuseppe Tornatore’s movie L’uomo delle stelle (the Starmaker), the pair have more recently took to the big screen once more as extras, this time for fashion film NINE, in which they don Catholic priests costumes.

The film, based on Fellini’s legendary movie "8 1/2", is a musical based on the fashion industry, with Hollywood legends such as Kate Hudson, Judi Dench, Nicole Kidman,  Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard and Sophia Loren all taking part. Adapted from the hit Broadway show, the film premiered at Leicester Square tonight, so it won't be long until we'll be able to give our review on Stefano and Domenico's acting skills. A handy hint - look out for them walking alongside Daniel Day Lewis in the opening scenes, we doubt you'll be disappointed.

Screen Style: Zhang Ziyi In 'Memoirs Of A Geisha'

Costume designer Colleen Atwood won an Oscar for her work on the 2005 film 'Memoirs of a Geisha', starring Zhang Ziyi as an enchanting Sayuri Nitta. Atwood was probably used to the recognition since she took the same honour for 'Chicago' in 2003.

The designer also worked with 'Nine' and 'Alice in Wonderland'. Think she'll impress the academy again?
