Back in March Chanel unveiled the images from their latest book, 'The Little Black Jacket', in Tokyo and last night they brought the travelling exhibition to New York with everyone from Pharrell Williams and Zoe Kravitz to regulars like Dree Hemingway and Poppy Delevigne in attendance.
Just as a refresher, the exhibition includes a selection of over 100 black and white photographs of models and celebrities shot by Karl Lagerfeld. Each star sports the brand's classic black tweed jacket styled in different ways by Carine Roitfeld.
The exhibition opens tomorrow until June 15 over at 18 Wooster Street.
Just about everyone was on Miami this week to attend the Dior pop-up shop. Stefano Tonchi and Giovanna Battaglia attended along with people like Pharrell Williams, VV Brown and Wendi Deng Murdorch.

Last week Revlon debuted the commercial for their new Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara, featuring spokesperson Jessica Bieland musician Pharrell Williams. Dubbed 'Hypnoteyzed', the commerical sees Biel seduce Williams with her lashes while a song written and produced by the singer plays.
When asked about the effectiveness of the mascara, Biel revealed that she's been using it long before the launch. “I’ve been using it a lot longer than it’s been out so I’ve had a real-life experience with it,” she says. “I’m really picky about my mascara—I don’t want it to clump if I decide to do an extra coat for evening—and this product doesn’t do that. It’s also very nourishing.” And she couldn't be any more complimentary about her co-star too. “He’s such a great person and I’m a huge fan of his music, so I was excited when he was chosen to participate,” she told US ELLE. “I think having someone like him incorporated into the commercial really makes it stand out.”
Pharrell Williams seems to be buying into tall-boot trend, as evidenced by his outfit for tonight's Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London. Is this a good trend for guys?
What is it about rappers at the moment? Since Russell Simmons launched his first successful clothing line, Phat Farm, in 1992, rappers have jumped on the bandwagon about fusing hip-hop culture with fashion. All you need to do is look on any big billboard in New York and you will see Diddy with a scantily clad model in his ads for King perfume under his brand Sean Jean. Jay-Z also started a successful line, Rocawear, in 1995, which he sold in 2007 for $207million. The biggest example is Kanye West, who we've seen everywhere this season.
