Anja Rubik might still be modelling but 25 magazine, the project she started back in 2009 with husband Sasha Knezevic, is her main focus. To shake things up, the magazine has undergone a big revamp with everyone from Inez can Lamsweerde to Annie Leibovitz collaborating on the new issue, which will be unveiled today in Cannes.
1970s erotica magazine, Viva, along with Playboy and Carine Roitfeld were the starting points of reference for the issue's erotica theme. '25 is basically directed toward very strong-minded, ambitious women, who are very comfortable with themselves and their sexuality,' she told Style.com. 'I was thinking a lot recently and looking how sex is approached nowadays, and nudity, and bodies. Erotica kind of disappeared. The way we approach sex is either really prude or very vulgar.'
Over the last few years Lindsay Lohan has tried all means to reinvent herself and relaunch her career that has been turbulent, to say the least. Her recent Playboy cover failed to garner the attention she had hoped and her collaboration with designer Phillipp Plein on his latest ad campaign didn't get much press coverage. In a last ditch attempt to get her career back on track, though, the actress in currently in talks to play Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming movie.
Titled 'Elizabeth & Richard: A Love Story', the movie will chronicle Taylor's relationship with Richard Burton and will be the first big role that Lohan has had since her short stint in prison and rehab. We really hope that this role will be the project that sees LiLo get back on track. Despite all of the controversy and drama, there's no denying that she can act so in theory, she should be able to pull it off and if we're lucky the film will be full of major fashion moments.
She might be doing community service in a morgue but it's not all bad for Lindsay Lohan. According to recent reports, Vanity Fair aren't the only magazine willing to work with the troubled actress as TMZ reports that the actress has agreed to bare all for a Playboy cover.
LiLo hasn't shied away from showing too much in the past. After all, she did start the penchant amongst young Hollywood for going out without underwear back in 2005 along with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, so the news isn't much of a surprise. And since the actress hasn't worked in a while, the hefty $1 million fee that she's demanded for the job will definitely come in handy.
Daisy Lowe turned heads in her Agent Provocateur campaign and now she plans to do the same thing with her latest project. Following in the footsteps of Lizzie Jagger, Lowe confirmed that she will celebrate her famous curves by posing nude for Playboy. According to reports, Lowe will appear on the magazine's September issue which will be shot at the Playboy mansion.
In last week's episode of 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' we all found out about the drama that occured over Kim's nude editorial and cover for W. In the episode she explained that she felt misled by the publication who allegedly led her to believe that her private areas would be covered by art.
"Oh my God, I'm more naked that I was in Playboy. I'm so mad right now. [The magazine] promised I would be covered with artwork — you can see the nipples!" she told her sisters on the show. "The whole concept was sold to me that nothing would be seen," she continued. "I feel so taken advantage of ... I've definitely learned my lesson. I'm never taking my clothes off again, even if it's for Vogue."
