Gisele Bundchen was under fire last week from dermatologists and skin experts after she labelled suncreen as "poison", saying that she "cannot put" it on her skin. It was only a matter of time before the backlash begun, and after the fierce criticism, Bundchen responded.
Yesterday, her publicist issued a statement saying: "Gisele would never say not to use sunscreen because she has had family members who have had skin cancer. She simply stated that her all-natural skin-care line does not have SPF because there is not an all natural SPF available."
Natalie Portman is the latest in a long string of stars - including Sharon Stone, Jude Law and of course Charlize Theron - to lend their face to a Christian Dior fragrance. As Fashionista point out, as Stone is the face for Poison and Theron for J'adore, does this mean that the actress will front the Miss Dior Cherie campaign? At present the question remains unanswered because the brand is yet to comment. Model Maryna Linchuck was the last to front the campaign for the fragrance when the scent was re-launched in 2008 with a summery commerical by Sophia Coppola.
